Kris Hehn, MGS, LNHA, LSW, CDP, is passionate about the quality of life for older adults. Her extensive background in senior services and personal experiences exemplifies this.  "My 96-year-old grandmother lived 1,000 miles away.  My parents currently live as far.  I understand the worries and stresses of caring for family from a distance. The need for an in-town professional is essential to assure 

quality of life."

Kris earned her BA at the University of Dayton and Master of Gerontological Studies from Miami University.  She is a former Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Ohio and Indiana, running several different long-term care facilities.  She was a Senior Center Director, a Licensed Social Worker, experienced in homecare, and taught as a  lecturer at Northern Kentucky University.  Kris served as the Northern Kentucky Care Services Coordinator for the National ALS Association.  As the Executive Director of several Assisted Living/Memory Care Communities in Ohio and Kentucky, she saw the great need for family involvement in assuring quality care and services.  

Kris lives in Cincinnati with her husband, two grown children, and 2 cats.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Sonja Cheatham joins CSCC with more than 20 years of experience in the human and social services field. Throughout her career, she has served individuals across the lifespan, advocating for the safety and well-being of children involved in the child welfare system, supporting individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness, and providing care management services to older adults with the goal of helping them maintain independence and quality of life in their homes.

Sonja brings extensive expertise in serving older adults through a variety of professional roles, including Elderly Services Care Manager, Independent Living Resident Services Coordinator, Geriatric Care Manager, and Clinical Care Consultant with the Alzheimer’s Association.

A passionate advocate, Sonja is deeply committed to ensuring that all individuals are treated with dignity, fairness, and respect. She approaches her work with compassion, professionalism, and a nonjudgmental perspective. Her dedication to advocacy and service makes her a valued addition to the CSCC team.

Sonja enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and enjoys community service and volunteerism.
